One solution for all migration scenarios
For migrating SAP data — for example when reshaping the system landscape — we rely on our standard solution CaRD-MIG, which builds on SAP standard tools and radically simplifies data take-over. A real-world example: in one project, 18 million condition records from 37 SAP systems worldwide were fully consolidated within a few hours — with conventional means this would have taken about a month.
The special part: business objects can be completely removed from the system and identically reloaded on demand — without additional migration systems and without repeated system or client copies during the migration phase. Full transparency lets you query the status of every migration object at any time. Objects "that not everyone can migrate" are part of our repertoire as well.
The template approach makes the solution reusable for global roll-outs across countries, sites and subsidiaries — including take-overs from non-SAP systems such as JD Edwards, Navision, Dynamics AX or Infor. Do you also take over data from non-SAP systems?
Yes — for example from JD Edwards, Navision, Dynamics AX, Infor or Adabas-based systems. Logic, rules and mappings are reusable through the template approach.
How long is the downtime during a harmonisation?
It depends on the scenario; using current technologies we keep the cut-over phase as short as possible — typically below 60 minutes. Our analysis provides a reliable estimate up front.
Can we run migrations ourselves after training?
Yes. We offer workshops and training on the CaRD-MIG solution in which your team learns, using your own objects, how data is taken over and — if needed — removed again.
