Filing with one click — via the Generic Object Services
Our Office integration files documents at the SAP business object via the Generic Object Services (GOS): customers, vendors, equipments, material masters, sales orders, purchase orders, FI documents, incoming invoices, personnel records and many more — including custom objects. Filing runs through the ArchiveLink interface into your content repository; integration into SAP PLM via originals and document info records is possible as well.
Assignment can happen automatically — in Word and Excel via a defined field or the document title, in Outlook via subject or regular expressions, plus barcode scenarios. Profiles let you serve multiple systems or objects; several documents, workbooks or e-mails can be checked in at once. Archived e-mails receive a new status in Outlook; Word and Excel files can be archived as PDF on request.
The solution runs locally installed as well as with Microsoft 365, is compatible with all SAP archive solutions and independent of your backend archive — including our SharePoint archive interface and our scan tooling, of course. The benefit: fast access to all data related to a transaction, transparency, less document loss and no media breaks — one uniform platform for Office, Explorer and SAP.
