Every IT project starts with the requirements phase — this is where the course is set. Are your requirements formulated independently of any system, or did they grow out of a legacy system or an existing SAP solution? We detach ourselves from these preconceptions and determine the genuine, system-independent requirements together with you — supporting analysis, preparation, moderation and follow-up of workshops.
Before implementation it pays to look at weak spots: not only in processes or IT, but also in numbering systematics, configuration logic or company-code structures. With our experience we identify these points precisely — without kicking off an endless re-engineering project. Processes that only exist because of a legacy system are questioned; processes causing the biggest problems are reworked; and we make sure nothing gets "hard-wired" into the SAP solution that would obstruct later adjustments.
For concept work we rely on a standardised approach with document templates, checklists and the long experience of our consultants. Where possible we start with an overall concept as the project frame and then refine it into functional and IT concepts per sub-project. Critical implementations are secured early with prototypes — for feasibility, performance and acceptance.
